CENTURY 21 Affiliated Stoughton Office Comes Together to Collect Clothing for Easter Seals

Random acts of kindness are a wonderful way to touch the lives of others and make our world a better place. CENTURY 21 Affiliated, with its 56 offices, celebrated giving back to the community by embarking on a simple yet extremely meaningful initiative called Random Act of Kindness (RAK) Day. On September 25th, 2014 CENTURY 21 Affiliated dedicated the day to spreading kindness by holding it's first RAK Day.

To celebrate RAK day, our Stoughton, WI office decided to collect clothing donations for Easter Seals Wisconsin because of our long-established partnership.  Many of us have been to Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells, as well as participated in the “Fall Sprawl” 5k run held every October, so we value all this incredible organization offers to Southeastern Wisconsin residents with disabilities.

“The week after we announced what we were doing for ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day,’ we had one of our agents, Lisa Murray, bring in 4 huge bags of her clothing and the biggest smile on her face. Her heart is truly as large as her desire to help others,” said Office Administrator, Amy McGill.

“The outpouring of generosity from the agents here is always amazing,” said Team Leader, Pete Nissler. “I am never surprised with how our agent pull through for our community.”

Next up for the Stoughton office is their October “Gourds ‘N Goodies” event. They open up the office and lawn to the community for a little hot apple cider, hot dogs, snacks, and a variety of games, including sack races and a huge bouncy house. Guests go home with a pumpkin, treat bag, and a smile. If anyone is in the area on October 22, stop by the office between 4pm and 7pm. You may RSVP to stoughton@c21affiliated.com or they’ll see you there at 1222 Hwy 51 Stoughton, WI!

Many of our offices and Agents are choosing to continue providing Random Acts of Kindness in their communities. Thus we have dedicated the entire month of October as "CENTURY 21 Affiliated Kindness Month," and will continue sharing our RAK stories and pictures each week throughout the month.
