Spanning the eastern parts of Lincoln Park and the Near North area, Old Town is a vibrant community that is considered both affluent and historic. From the beginning  of the lands settlement by German-Catholic immigrants in the 1850s to the movement  of a more hippie culture in the 1950s to becoming an affluent neighborhood today, Old Town has seen many different crowds and times which is reflected in its buildings, neighborhoods and residents. Its boundaries are Clark Street on the east, Division Street on the south, Larrabee Street on the west and North Avenue on the north. The Old Town Triangle Starts north of North Avenue and is formed by connecting the points of Sedgwick Street on the west, Armitage Avenue on the north and Lincoln Avenue and Clark Street on the east.
