Parks and Recreation

There are 19 different parks in Frankfort with a variety of different amenities for the residents to enjoy. In addition to outdoor recreation, Frankfort also has the Founders Community Center. The Community Center houses a gymnasium, dance studio, kitchen, and a large banquet hall. There are many different classes and programs available to residents, including youth and adult craft classes, cooking classes, fitness programs, and youth basketball and volleyball leagues.

Annual Festivals

Frankfort hosts a lot of fun festivals throughout the year. Not only are there the classics, like the Fourth Of July Firework Show and th End of the Year Countdown, there are also Kids Craft Days, Fall Wine Tastings for the adults, and even a Howl-A-Woof, a Halloween party for the four-legged family members!


The Frankfort School District prides itself on three fully-equipped and well-maintained schools that all dedicate themselves on education their respective students. This district provides education for grades K-8. For high school students will be enrolled in the Frankfort Community High School, whose mission is to provide quality instruction in a secure educational and social environment.
