Remington Real Estate Listings and Information

Founded as a farming community in 1860, the historic Remington, Indiana serves as your "Small Town Oasis" with a population a little over 1,000 residents. Remington is only a 90-minute drive from both Chicago and Indianapolis, making this quaint small town a needed escape from hectic city life.

Parks & Recreation

Remington has two parks within it's city limits, the original town park is centrally located with an open shelter as well as a large playground. The Remington Community Park is the newer and larger of the two parks. Visit the park to hike on the trails, play soccer or baseball on the fields provided, or the rent our the shelters for family reunions, birthday parties, and other special events.

Because of our roots in agriculture, Remington is home to a 4-H club but also has other community organizations such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Each year Remington hosts the Remington Water Tower Days, a two-day festival that includes a fish-fry, 5k run/walk, a dunk tank, and many other fun activities that the whole family will enjoy!
