The Dimondale Farmers' Market is held on Thursdays, June through September from 3-7 p.m. and during October from 3-6 p.m.
There are also two main parks that serve the community. Danford Island Park is on the riverfront that includes access to the Grand River from a canoe launch and a fishing pier. Picnic tables and benches are available and there is a bridge that connects the front of the park to a walking path on the "island.” The Lions Community Park offers a large pavilion, picnic shelters, grills, a natural fishing site, horseshoe pits and a playground.
Dimondale is served by the Holt School District and Dimondale Elementary School.
