Professional Background

Back in 2009, I earned my B.A. in History (Cum Laude) and decided to go to graduate school to become a High School History teacher. It turned out that that the state of Illinois did not need new High School History teachers so I substitute taught for about a year and a half. I learned a lot of skills with teaching that include:

  • Leadership
  • Organizational Skills
  • Time Management
  • Being able to converse with a wide range of people
  • Public Speaking
  • Use of Technology

During this time I decided to get a second job at Old Navy and ended up the Service and Training Manager. This was my first experience in a Sales and Managerial setting. This is where I learned and honed my customer services skills. I also learned how to help customers by discussing products and following their lead to get them to what they were really looking for.

After about two years in this position I was ready to move on and became a customer service/product help phone rep at an industrial supply company. Once again, I was in a position to help customers find what they were looking for. Here, I learned a lot more about the construction and maintenance fields and could help you pick out the right materials/tools for your project. Needless to say, I feel right at home at home improvement stores now. Although the subject matter interested me, answering phones all day was not what I was looking for in a career and I finally decided to take the plunge into Real Estate.

I have been interested in real estate since I was in High School. HGTV and DIY Network are the two channels I always had on. I love seeing what is on the market and as a Realtor, I will use all of the skills I gained in my previous work experiences to find you the home you are looking for or help get your home sold! Real estate is where my heart lies and I can’t wait to put my passion for homes to work for you!

Personal Background

A little bit about me:

I have spent the majority of my life as a resident in the western suburbs and love the area and all it has to offer. I experienced a fulfilling childhood and teenage life in Brookfield where I spent a lot of time in Riverside and LaGrange Park as well. Over the years, I have lived, worked or frequented: Berwyn, Westchester, Lombard, Elmhurst, Downers Grove and Naperville and look forward to servicing all of those areas.

I come from a large family and am a proud Aunt of my two nephews and niece who are little balls of energy. My boyfriend and I have a Miniature Schnauzer puppy, Pit Bull, a cat and a few other small animals. The dogs and cat all have very different personalities that work very well together and make every day interesting, to say the least!
