Spring is coming.....the days are getting longer...and the sun is getting warmer!!
Remember to "spring ahead" an hour on March 9th. One of the biggest reasons we change our clocks to and from Daylight Saving Time is that it saves energy. Energy use and the demand for electricity are directly connected to when we go to bed and when we get up. In 2005, the Energy Policy Act was passed, changing the dates for Daylight Saving Time to begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. "Springing ahead" is the first sign of spring!! And the robins are back too!!
