Staging you home to sell

Proper stage is a key to a quick sale and can increase your value to $2 for every $1 spent on staging!

First, de-personalize buyers need to envision their things in the home.  Put away all the family and vacation photos and awards.  Second, de-clutter to maximize the space in your home. Consider storing the extra items and clothes from the closets, clean off the counter tops, and store the oversized & extra furniture pieces. Third, have it clean.  Make sure dishes are done, clean any grimy walls, hang new white towels and clean the shower doors.  Next, update and modernize.  Change those gold fixtures to nickel or chrome, paint and update hardware on cabinets. A dated home will reflect a lower offer. And lastly, neutralize.  Repaint those shocking and bold colors.  Add accent pieces to create a focal point and add new neutral window treatments.  Then sell, sell, sell.
