After graduating from Purdue in 1994, I began working at a local veterinary clinic. It was a fun and exciting place to work because I receive the best of both worlds-working with the public and working with animals. It was also a place I learned a lot about myself and what I was capable of doing.
During my time as a veterinary assistant, I had my daughters. Now that I was a mother, it was harder to go to work and be away from them for 10+ hours out of the day. I worked at the clinic for 12 years until I finally decided I needed to make a change. I needed to be my own boss so that I could take care of my family physically and financially.
I looked at only one profession that I knew I could excel in, make my own schedule, and make a good income-real estate. I loved being around people and I wanted to help them experience the American Dream of owning their own home.
In 2006, I received my Real Estate license and I never looked back. This profession is a good fit for me. It is rewarding, challenging, and gratifying. It makes me excited everyday to be my own boss, and be able to work with many people in this field! I have met some of my best friends in real estate. If you are looking at a new challenge, call me. I would be happy to talk to you about becoming a Century 21 Affiliated Realtor!
