VETERANS FAIR PROVIDES VALUABLE RESOURCES FOR VETS
The City of Aurora’s Veterans Advisory Council, Aurora University, and the DuPage County Veterans Center are hosting the 2nd annual Veterans Resource Fair on Friday, June 20 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Aurora University Institute for Collaboration, 1347 Prairie Street, Aurora.
 
Veterans and their families will be able to obtain information about educational opportunities, employment, housing, health care, mental health, financial programs, legislative assistance, and other area veterans’ organizations.
 
Participating agencies include the Aurora Public Library, Aurora University Center for Adult and Graduate Studies, City of Aurora Veterans Advisory Council, Congressman Bill Foster, DryHootch of America, DuPage County Veterans Center, Fox Valley Marines, Hines Veterans Hospital, Hope for Tomorrow, Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission, Old Second National Bank, Rebuilding Together Aurora, American Legion Post 84, and the US Department of Veterans Affairs – Chicago Regional Office.
 
The Veterans Resource Fair is free and open to the public.
