The digital frenzy that has swept the nation in the last week has also landed right here in the City of Lights.  People of all ages are out and about with phones in hand on a quest to capture Pokémon all over town.

Downtown Aurora is a Pokémon haven that has attracts hundreds of players at all times of the day and night.

With its dozens of Pokestops and Gyms in a concentrated area, downtown Aurora is a prime spot to gather more Poke' Balls, Incense, Revives, and Potions and even battle with other Pokémon right on your phone (how's that for Poke-Speak?).

Aurora was one of the first cities in the area to welcome Pokémon players with a Facebook post that reached more than 60,000 people.

We remind all Pokémon players to:
-Be safe
-Be alert
-Watch for traffic
-Go out with friends
-Be mindful of private property
-Stay aware of all surroundings
