YWCA Aurora is leading a Peace Vigil for the Orlando Tragedy. The invitation is open for all to join as Aurorans stand together to remember those who lost their lives and were injured in the massacre and to call for peace throughout the world.

The firefighters at Fire Station #8 are hosting an Open House for the community. Come meet the crew, see demonstrations and have a free hot dog for lunch. There are special activities for the kids and fun for the entire family.

Come and learn about Sweet Candy Science! Blend art and science and create your own "sweet candy."  One Saturday per month, Super SciTech Saturday allows families to experience science at a new level. Creation Stations are only $4.
GAR MUSEUM TOUR

After 15 years, Aurora's historic Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall is open once again to the public. It is filled with unique exhibits on the Civil War, on the local soldiers who fought and on everyday life in post-Civil War Aurora. Tours are FREE each Saturday.

SORRY-THIS SHOW IS SOLD OUT. The living legend is back on the stage and he's got an old friend with him. Yes, Willie Nelson will be in Aurora and he's bringing the one and only Kris Kristofferson! Tickets sold quickly for this show.

Pre-Parade Program
The Pre-Parade Program will take place on the Reviewing Stand located at the corner of Galena and Stolp. Join Mayor Weisner, Aldermen, Grand Marshals Tim Rater & Jim Corti and special guest performers to kick-off the holiday!

10:00 a.m.
Parade
The 100+ unit parade steps off at the normal location at the Santori Public Library on the corner of River St. and Benton. The NEW parade route for this year is:

 -East on Benton to Broadway 
-North on Broadway to Downer 
- West on Downer to Stolp
-North on Stolp to Galena
- West on Galena to River St. 
-South on River St. to Downer
 
Bring the family downtown for another great parade in the morning and then for a fun time at the fireworks in the evening . . . 
  
The FIREWORKS & FAMILY FUN NIGHT will take place in 2 downtown locations on the evening of Monday, July 4!
 
From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (with fireworks at 9:35 p.m.), bring the family to one of the following two parks:

RIVEREDGE PARK
360 N. Broadway
Tasty food vendors, good music and an amazing view of the fireworks:
* 6:15 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.: American Legion Band
* 7:45 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.: Fox Valley Orchestra
* 9:15 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Community Line-Dancing (Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, etc.)

MCCULLOUGH PARK
@Prisco Center, 150 W. Illinois
More tasty food, good music, bounce houses & games for the kids and an amazing view of the fireworks.
* 7:30 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Evolution - classic to current rock group

FIREWORKS
EXTRAVAGANZA
At approximately 9:35 p.m., the City of Lights will live up to its name with a pyrotechnic extravaganza illuminating the night sky in a rainbow of colors! Fireworks can be viewed from both locations and along the banks of the Fox River.

PARK & RIDE!
TAKE A SHUTTLE!
Don't worry about parking and simply take one of our conveniently located shuttles at locations throughout Aurora. All shuttles will drop you and your family off in close proximity to both RiverEdge Park and McCullough Park and take you back to your car after the fireworks.

Shuttles will run from 6p to 9p and then resume service immediately following the fireworks until 11p.
