Kids will enjoy the new play areas at the O'Hare Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and Belvidere Oasis on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90). For information on services at our seven oases >

Do you use your I-PASS account only for occasional Tollway trips? It's great to update.

It's true that I-PASS fund balances never expire, but customers need to keep their account active. By taking a few moments to review your account online, you can be sure your credit card number and expiration date are current. Update your I-PASS account online >

I-PASS TIP: When an I-PASS has been inactive for seven years the Tollway will close the account after notifying the account holder.

News you can use when traveling
REAGAN MEMORIAL TOLLWAY (I-88)   JANE ADDAMS MEMORIAL TOLLWAY (I-90)

The Dixon Interchange will be open during the Petunia Festival

All lanes on the ramp bridge at the Dixon interchange at Illinois Route 26 will reopen to traffic during the City of Dixon's Petunia Festival, Thursday, June 30, to Monday, July 4, between stages of construction. Installation of SmartRoad high-tech gantries between the Kennedy Expressway and Barrington Road has begun and will continue into the fall. ON THE ROAD

Are you seeing colors on electronic Tollway road signs? It's not an optical illusion!

Roadway safety is a top priority for the Tollway. Currently we are testing color backgrounds on our over-the-road signs to find out which colors provide the greatest visibility especially during weather conditions, like fog and rain and by the time of day. Signs with blue backgrounds can now be seen on the western portions of the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) and on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94) near the Grand Avenue interchange. In July the signs will have green backgrounds and in August they will be replaced with black backgrounds.
