Professional Background

Welcome to my website.  Just a little about me, I earned my Wisconsin Real Estate Broker License in 2002, and spent those years in the commercial real estate field. In 2013 I began selling residential Real Estate for Century 21 Affiliated.  I can not tell you the joy I've gotten over the years watching people find their dream home or become home owners for the first time.

For the past twenty plus years I've been in the real estate field and have enjoyed learning new and exciting careers in the field.  I started in property managment over seeing commercial properties and leasing.  Then went on to work in a title company as real estate closing officer, and a transaction coordinator.

I've been a Wisconsin resident my entire life. Graduated in 1986 from LaFollette High School and attended Madison College (MATC) and Cardinal Stritch University where I studied real estate and business.

Wisconsin is Awesome!

One of my favorite places is Wisconsin Dells. I love the shops, the scenery and the fact within minutes of being in the busy hustle and bustle you can find yourself nestled in the quiet of the woods, lakes and rivers.

The area holds a special place in my heart as I had the privilege of visiting there often.  My great Aunt owned the Gift Mart on US Highway 12 in Lake Delton which is now the current location of St. Clair's clinic across from the Wilderness Hotel and Water Park.  Her store, at that time, was one of the largest of its kind in the Dells area. It was an Air-conditioned shop with lots of room to browse.  The shelves were full of moccasins, baskets, belts, deerskin jackets, gloves, purses, genuine steer horns, jewelry and lots of souvenir trinkets of the Dells.  Some 40 years later I still have a few of those trinkets that remind me of that special time.  I also remember as a child watching her work while sitting in a chair behind the counter.  I recall a few times being able to run in the aisles once the shop was locked up for the evening.  I can still smell the sandal wood and leather that filled the air and hear the creeks in the old wood floor.

Here's a photo of the inside of her store

Down the road my Dad's parents ran another Dells venue.  It had a large slide that you used gunny sacks to slide down, go-carts and a mini golf course.  That spot now houses Mt. Olympus!  These childhood memories of weekends in the Dells makes this one of my favorite places to do business and still visit today!  It never gets old.  I dance with excitement each Fall to see all the lavish colors of the trees as they turn golden yellow, burnt orange and red.

Here's my yearly picture of the upper boat tour. (and cute little hands of one of my children)

I Pledge to Serve Veterans and their Families

Every real estate agent has a responsibility to provide the best homebuying experience and resources available to his or her clients. That's why I've pledged from here forward to ask every client "Did You Serve?" As a Veteran, you are eligible for many benefits earned through your service, among them is the advantages of the VA Home Loan program. It's my privilege to educate you on these homebuying benefits and to help make those benefits accessible and attainable.

No Down Payment Required

For many, the biggest obstacle to buying a home is saving up for the costly down payment. With the VA Loan, homebuyers are not required to put any money down.

Lower Monthly Payments

Because the VA provides a financial guaranty on each VA Loan, lending institutions carry less risk and don’t require private mortgage insurance which can save hundredsevery month.

Easier to Qualify

The rigors of military service can often do a number on a person's credit report. More than 80 percent of Veterans and service members using a VA Loan wouldn't qualify for conventional financing, but the flexible qualification standards of the VA Home Loan program gives those who have served a path in which to purchase a home.

Staging Your Home to Sell!

As an added value service to her clients Michelle is an ASP Realtor.  She can assist you in the staging of your home. Staging is an important tool to create immediate buyer interest and help your home sell quicker and for top dollar!

First impressions are a big part of a buyer's reaction to a home. Staging your home will allow an advantage over other properties on the market as statistics indicate that 95% of staged homes sell within 29 days and for top dollar!  Click here for more information!

Remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression!

Community Involvement

Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for nearly 100 years. From child development centers to physical rehabilitation and job training for people with disabilities, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals. Over the past 10 years, through the combined efforts of our clients, agents and staff, we have successfully donated over $100,000 to this worthy cause.

Box of Balloons

This summer I received an invitation to volunteer for an outstanding cause in the area.  Box of Balloons! They partner with local school districts and community organizations to locate families in need.

School Social Workers, teachers and other community advocates find families who have children but not the means to celebrate their birthdays. A simple form is filled out giving the organization the child's birth date, age, gender and likes.  The request then goes out the a team that provides the birthday box!  What an outstanding idea!

Quote To Live By

Teaching is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught” – Oscar Wilde

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.” –Steve Jobs

"It's tangible, it's solid, it's beautiful. It's artistic, from my standpoint, and I just love real estate."   -Donald Trump
