In 2014, over 70,000 pheasants from the Poynette Game Farm will be released on over 90 public hunting grounds. The FPGF is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing pheasant hunting opportunities and promoting Wisconsin’s strong upland bird hunting tradition.
In addition to support for the pheasant stocking program, FPGF promotes pheasant and small game hunting as a family activity. FPGF organizers are very passionate about their time spent hunting with family and friends.
"We have many fond memories of hunting trips and want new hunters to make memories of their own,” said FPGF president Vic Connors.
Programs are limited to 30 participants and applications must be mailed at least 14 days before the scheduled event to: Friends of the Poynette Game Farm, PO Box 606 Poynette, WI 53955.
