Nicole (Nikki) Schram, Attorney and REALTOR
I am not only a dedicated REALTOR, but also a real estate attorney. My training and experience as an attorney allow me to provide my Buyers and Sellers with professional services that very few other REALTORs can.
As your real estate agent, you can trust that I will ask the right questions, listen carefully to your wishes, and help you get the results you're looking for. I have more than ten years of experience in drafting and reviewing sales contracts- and explaining them to my clients in plain English. I am also a trained mediator, and have significant experience in negotiating agreements when the stakes (and the emotions!) are high.
Most importantly, I understand that buying or selling a house can be a very stressful time. I promise to return your calls promptly, to keep you updated on our progress, and to crack a few bad jokes to make you smile.
Before joining the Century 21 Affiliated team, I practiced law in Denver, Colorado, primarily in the areas of litigation (including real estate and construction defect litigation), business advising and family law.
I am proud to have earned the honor of receiving an "AV Preeminent" Peer Review rating from Martindale Hubbell- the world's best-known attorney rating service. According to Martindale, an "AV" rating is "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence." Most of my business as a private attorney came from referrals... from former clients, mediators and even judges! You can feel confident referring your friends and family to me as well.

Between my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and law school, I was a volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps. I served for two years in Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), West Africa, providing health education (prevention of HIV/AIDS, malaria and malnutrition) and promoting girls' education. The slogan is true: the Peace Corps really is the Toughest Job You'll Ever Love!
My husband and two young daughters and I love to bike Madison's bike paths and do every water sport imaginable on Wisconsin's lakes. On a warm summer evening, you can find me on the Memorial Union Terrace with a local brew and some peanut butter chocolate ice cream!
I am a resident of the historic Nakoma neighborhood, and am active in the Nakoma League- planning community events such as the Spring Egg Hunt and even singing and dancing in the (in)famous Twelveth Night musical!
Century 21 Affiliated and I also passionately support Easter Seals of Wisconsin. Donations from sales commissions help to provide services and support to individuals and veterans with disabilities.
