Hosted in Los Angeles, CA, this year's ESPY Awards were held on Wednesday, July 10 2019. The ESPYs are an annual event in which some of the best athletes from around the globe come together to recognize and celebrate one another's successes. This year, however, more than just professional athletes could be found among the celebrated. In appreciation for some of their top real estate agents, CENTURY 21 rewarded four outstanding agents with a VIP trip to the 2019 ESPYs. Among the four lucky agents was CENTURY 21 Affiliated's very own Lori Hagemann-Davis.
Based out of Janesville, WI, Lori was selected for CENTURY 21's VIP ESPYs celebration for her tenacious nature and ferocious drive to provide her clients with the absolute best home buying and selling experiences. Even going so far as to personally fix the leaking pipes at one of her client's homes, Lori has time and time again proven herself worthy of an ESPY sized reward. Ultimately, Lori's road to real estate has been an honorable one. After joining the United States Air Force after high school, Lori served for four years in Germany before returning to the states and earning her real estate license. After selling real estate for ten full years, Lori served as a missionary in Eastern Europe, providing relief supplies for those on the front lines of the Bosnian War. Since returning from her missionary work in 1995, Lori has been making waves in real estate ever since. "I decide every day to do my job with integrity and for the good of others," Lori said of her dedication to both her clients and CENTURY 21 Affiliated.
On what it was like to experience the night as a CENTURY 21 VIP, Lori had this to say: "It was an opportunity to meet some great fellow agents, spend some time with CENTURY 21 leadership, and even meet star athletes. I am grateful for the opportunity."
Of the other three CENTURY 21 agents selected were Vanessa Beneze out of Newark, OH; Todd Black out of Akron, OH; and Christopher Dellaccio out of Lindenhurst, NY.
Among the other star-studded guests that attended the event were the United States Women's National Soccer Team, arriving just a few days after their World Cup win over the Netherlands. Alex Morgan, one of the most recent breakout stars of the team, took home the award for Best Female Athlete. Additionally, Lori was not the only Wisconsinite to represent at this year's event; both Milwaukee Bucks' star Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Brewers' Christian Yelich were in attendance, with Antetokounmpo bringing the awards for Best Male Athlete and Best NBA Player home to Wisconsin.
While a day in the life of professional sports and real estate may seem different day-to-day, there is one thing both Lori and her fellow CENTURY 21 agents have in common with the world's best athletes: they are all relentless to the core when it comes to doing what they love.
