Arts and Culture
Canton has many committees dedicated to highlighting art and culture in the community. Some of the groups include the Art Exhibition Committee, the Multicultural Committee, the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities and the Historic District Commission. Together they keep the city’s history alive through countless events.
Parks and Recreation
There are more than 25 parks and trails located within the Canton Community. The Recreation Division also provides programs and services for all ages and the can be experienced at the Canton Sports Center, the Aquatic Center, the B.L.O.C.K Teen Center, and the Senior Center. There are also local concerts and the Farmers Market
Events and Festivals
The Liberty Fest is one of Canton’s most anticipated community events! You can play in the Carnival Zone, enjoy festival food and shop local vendors! The Plymouth-Canton School District is the third largest in Michigan with three high schools, five middle schools, 16 elementary schools and 19,000 + students.
