Holly is a village in Oakland County, located 15 miles from Flint, Michigan, and 55 miles northwest of Detroit. With the 2010 census, there was a population of about 6,000 residents within the village.

There is Sorenson Park, a 93-acre park which offers a play ground, two softball fields, a 5k trail system, and a nature center. Also available is the Holly Township Beach, which also includes a playground and a pavilion that is available for rental. For the colder months, the Holly High School Pool is available for lap-swimming, water-exercise, and open swim! 

Annual Festivals

During the summer months, Holly hosts fun activities such as Movies on Battle Alley, where residents gather on the historic Main Street to watch family-friendly movies. When Halloween rolls around, Holly throws the HollyWeen Celebration, which celebrates the holiday with a parade, nd trick-or-treating downtown!

Head to the historic Downtown Holly for fine-dining and shopping, or just  day of fun! And History buffs can get their fix at the Hadley House Historical Museum


Holly boasts some of the best educational opportunities in the state of Michigan. Consistently A-rated schools are available for residents and work on educating students K-12. The District also offers free preschool for children ages 3 and 4.
