Holland is also the home to DeKlomp Wooden Shoe & Delft Factory where you can watch local artists mold, hand- paint and glaze the famous wooden Dutch shoes.


Holland has educational programs for every type of student. There are seven Public Schools, five Christian Schools and two colleges; Hope College and Western Theological Seminary.

Annual Events

One of the most famous events in Holland is Tulip Time, a week-long celebration remembering the city’s Dutch heritage. Another popular event is Dutch WinterFest where you can enjoy the Parade of Lights and heated, snow-free sidewalks. Other events include a St. Patrick’s Day Parade, “Remember When” Car Show and the Tulipanes Latino Art & Film Festival.
