Parks and Recreation

The village of Germantown has 9 parks that total over 400 acres of parkland and open spaces that feature rivers, woods, playgrounds, and more. Other than the community parks, Germantown's Parks and Recreation Department also runs a skate park, and archery range, and a disc golf course!

Annual Festivals

Although not traditionally considered a festival, Germantown does host a Farmers Market that features fresh eggs, produce, baked goods, and more! The Farmers Market runs almost every Saturday from May until October and is always looking for new vendors! However, that's not all Germantown has to offer. Each year Germantown and the surrounding area have many special events such as Art in the Park, the Fall Festival, and one of the favorites is Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest is a two-day festival sponsored by the Germantown Historical Society. You can find authentic food, great music, a classic car display, and activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Not only does the Germantown School District really dedicate itself to the community, it dedicates itself to empower and inspire every student to achieve success. The curriculum is constantly growing and changing to meet the needs of the students to ensure that they are growing academically. However, the District also does its best to provide and environment where kids not only develop academically, but in other ways as well.
