Aurora, IL - Changing from STICKER to CART SYSTEM - Last Week to Register for your New Garbage Carts!

I just received an email that residents of Aurora, IL will be changing from STICKER TO CART SYSTEM.

I am told this is the last week to register for your new carts! They said cards were mailed out last month. I don't know what happened to my notice :( so I called them. The rep was very pleasant and everything was taken care of in a couple of minutes. :)

I am scheduled to receive my new carts by Mid July.

Here's their number(630) 892-9294 and then Press 2.

Click on this link for more info.

I picked the 65 GallonTrash Cart and the 65 Gallon Recycling Cart and will be billed $39.75 quarterly.

Carts are scheduled to be delivered in Mid-July.

Here are the choices:

35 Gallon - 65 Gallon - 95 Gallon

35 Gallon or 65 Gallon

p.s. I was told that you would still have to buy stickers for grass/leaf pickup

Here are a couple of the frequently asked questions.

2.) What Should We Do With The Old Containers

Residents can dispose of the containers by placing a "please remove" note. Residents may also write directly on old containers. Republic will only take the containers with clear indication that they are to be removed.

7.) How Will Senior Citizens Register For The Orange Bag Program

Senior citizens will receive a separate mailer to confirm their registration in the orange bag program. All questions regarding the orange bag program should be directed to Republic Services at 630-892-9294.

(Aurora, Ill) - The City of Aurora is reminding all residents that the deadline to select new trash and recycling carts under Aurora's new Trash and Recycling Program is quickly approaching.
If residents have not yet selected carts, the process to do so is fast and simple. Residents should call Republic Services at 630-892-9294 to speak with a Customer Service Representative.
Residents have the option to select from three different sizes for trash carts and two different sizes for recycling carts. There are also additional options for senior citizens and low-volume users that are still available.
Selection cards were mailed to residents last month with a special verification code for each household. However, because the deadline is quickly approaching, residents should call 630-892-9294 to place orders instead of mailing in the selection cards. The Customer Service Representatives will already have the verification code for each household.
Current cart customers have the option of keeping their current carts, but the City is still asking current cart customers to notify Republic Services of that decision by calling 630-892-9294.
Residents who do not respond will automatically receive a 65-gallon trash cart and a 65-gallon recycling cart. To make sure that the carts are best fit for the needs of each household, call Republic Services at 630-892-9294 and make a personal selection.
