Located in south central Wisconsin lies the village of Cambridge shared by both Dane and Jefferson counties. Nestled among farm fields, Cambridge brings an intermix of both old and new. Inside Victorian storefronts and century old buildings, lie charming shops and galleries with a bounty of specialties from pottery, crafts, folk art, furniture, antiques, and much more. With a prosperous downtown area filled with quaint shops and exquisite dining, an expansive park system, and a beautiful public beach at Lake Ripley located just south of the village, Cambridge has plenty to offer.
Cambridge also offers an abundance of activities and events. Beautiful Koshkonong Creek remains popular with canoeists and in the winter cross country skiers also follow it's path through the Cam-Rock system. Lake Ripley and Ripley Park offer swimming and all sorts of recreational equipment. If you enjoy off-road bicycling, Glacial Drumlin State Trail is known as one of Wisconsin's best bike trails. Annual events include the Cambridge Pottery Festival and the U.S. Pottery Games which bring in a myriad of spectators and artisans.
